Veggie Kitchen: Vegetarian Cookery Classes

Vegetarian cooking classes at The Veggie Kitchen offer a wide variety of classes to suit all. If you are a vegetarian, who wants to experience and learn the art of cooking vegetarian meals in your own Veggie Kitchen, then these classes are a must for you. Our aim is to teach you to cook home-style food that you can prepare easily and repeatedly to make the most out of your veggie kitchen cookery course.

In these step-by-step classes you'll learn a variety of recipes using popular, exotic and fresh ingredients. These exciting classes will take you on a culinary journey around the world including Indian (North and South), Chinese, Thai, Mexican, Italian, Lebanese & many more. Classes can also comprise of Baking, Desserts, Barbeque etc.

All cookery classes are inclusive of:

  • All Ingredients
  • Printed copies of recipes with clear instructions and ingredient measurements
  • Recipe folder
  • A portion of the cooked dishes for you to take home (please provide own containers)

At The Veggie Kitchen all classes are tailor made to your ability:

Beginners{Basic Course 1} / Course 2

If you have no or minimal cooking experience, these classes will help increase your confidence in the kitchen by helping you to develop basic cooking techniques and knowledge of ingredients to prepare daily vegetarian meals.

Course 3 / Course 4 / Course 5

If you are interested in learning more creative and interesting vegetarian dishes then these classes will push your cooking skills and will teach you how to create meals for those special occasions.

Children

The Veggie Kitchen offers children fun cookery classes which involve learning easy to follow recipes as well as learning nutritional value of food and being able to identify which food groups ingredients belong. Children will be supervised and involved in preparation and cooking of the food depending on age and ability. The children are able to take a sample of the cooked food home (or have lunch at The Veggie Kitchen). Recipe cards will be provided (please bring takeaway containers).

Special One-Off Class for groups of 6-10

Make up your own group of 6-10 persons and come and learn in themed classes such as Thai, Chinese, South Indian, Indian Sweets etc or your favourite 4 recipes chosen by you from any of the recipes listed in our current courses. This will be ideal for birthdays, hen nights etc or just to learn to cook and eat the prepared food.  The cost is £35 per person only, inclusive of the recipes, ingredients and the prepared food to eat at the end of the class.


Single Group Class - Subject to availability

The cost to attend a single class is £35.00 per class subject to availability.
